The theory postulates that far more human activity is governed by man's (sic) emotional system than he has been willing to admit, and there is far more similarity than dissimilarity between the "dance of life"in lower forms and the "dance of life"in human forms."

-Murray Bowen, M.D.
Family Therapy in Clinical Practice

Training Mission: to teach the natural systems theory developed by Dr. Murray Bowen and apply the theory to the professional practice of marriage and family therapy and pastoral counselling. Particular emphasis is placed on understanding one’s own family as an emotional system and on the effort to define more of a self in one’s own family.
